Dr Montserrat Anguita

Montserrat Anguita works as a scientific officer of the FEED Unit at the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). EFSA is the keystone of European Union risk assessment regarding food and feed safety. In close collaboration with national authorities and in open consultation with its stakeholders, EFSA provides independent scientific advice and clear communication on existing and emerging risks.

Montserrat got the degree in veterinary science in 2001 at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. In 2006 she completed her PhD studies. Afterwards she worked for two more years at the same University as a researcher in the area of animal nutrition before joining EFSA.
